Tips to Find the Right Fitting First H.E.L.P. Men’s Apparel

Posted by on

Wearing patriotic apparel with a purpose is a fantastic way to express your American spirit, and one of the best patriotic organizations is the First H.E.L.P. foundation. In addition to providing our customers with good fitting, patriotic apparel, Freedom Fatigues is proud to partner with American businesses and non-profit organizations to raise awareness of cumulative PTSD and hero suicide.

We also donate a portion of every purchase to charities and other organizations with the same mission so our customers can be proud to be wearing clothes with a patriotic purpose.

While spreading a positive message is essential, you also want to look good. Here are some style tips to ensure your Freedom Fatigues First H.E.L.P. men’s apparel fits you perfectly.

First H.E.L.P. Fits For You

Freedom Fatigues First H.E.L.P. casual shirts are the ideal staple to add to your wardrobe. They pair perfectly, from work boots and bunker gear to tennis shorts and white sneakers. But to get the most out of your Freedom Fatigues tee, it must fit well.

When our Freedom Fatigues poly/cotton and tri-blend shirts fit correctly, the bottom hem should reach between the top to the middle of the pockets on your jeans. Unlike dress shirts, the slim fit of our athletic cuts leaves no extra fabric to create a muffin top over the top of your pants.

To get the perfect fit for your Freedom Fatigues First H.E.L.P. patriotic shirt, use a measuring tape to find the length between where your shoulder meets your neck and just beneath the pocket of your jeans. Next, measure across the widest part of your chest, beneath your arms, from seam to seam.

Your Freedom Fatigues First H.E.L.P. t-shirt should fit comfortably without being too snug or baggy, and the sleeve length should be midway between your elbow and shoulder.

Slight variations in length may exist between different fabrics for our Freedom Fatigues and First H.E.L.P. t-shirts, but all our patriotic men’s t-shirts have an athletic cut with a slightly tailored fit.

First responders are people who work in professions that put them closest to danger and most at risk during a crisis. These men and women include firefighters, law enforcement officers, 911 operators, EMTs, and paramedics who put their lives on the line in stressful and often dangerous situations to serve the needs of others.

Many first responders battle mental health issues caused by their high-stress and dangerous occupations. Unfortunately, some brave men and women lose that battle and take their own life–First H.E.L.P. acknowledges these fallen heroes.

The First H.E.L.P. family of organizations includes Blue H.E.L.P. for law enforcement, Red H.E.L.P. for firefighters, White H.E.L.P. dealing with paramedics and EMS personnel, and Gold H.E.L.P., established for 911 telecommunicators.

These institutions fund support for the families of fallen heroes. They also advocate for improvements in training and tactics for agencies seeking to prevent suicide and push for policy changes and legislation to make working conditions safer for first responders.

Support our brave first responders with apparel honoring their selfless service. Some of our most popular First H.E.L.P tees include:

Stigma Stops Here Blue Help T-shirt

The Stigma Stops Here

Available in a First H.E.L.P. and Blue H.E.L.P. version, our Freedom Fatigues The Stigma Stops Here t-shirt features a screen-printed graphic from the #IWillTalk #IWillListen campaign. The campaign aims to stop the stigma associated with first responders seeking help with mental health issues.

The First H.E.L.P. The Stigma Stops Here shirt is a soft, tri-blend with a bit of extra fabric on the length of the medium through 3XL sizes. This allows a great fit on a larger or longer body type without excess fabric bunching under the arms.

The lightweight, poly/cotton blend fabric of the Blue H.E.L.P. shirts are athletic cuts with more tailored fits. We recommend that you order a size larger if you prefer clothes that fit less snugly.
